When in Big Bear.....

So after an event filled Christmas Eve and Christmas day, Erica and I journeyed up to the mountains to meet up with my parents at the family cabin in Big Bear. After a 3 hour drive up a snow covered road (without chains) we finally arrived and got some rest. The next day was full of snowboarding and the ritual Christmas dealing (plus 1 day). The day after that we kicked back in the cabin and recovered from our beaten snowboard muscles. Anyways, here are some shots I got. (my brother and I got extremely borred & Erica was captured by some book).

Burning time at the Diamond

Kenny and I were at Marketplace at the Diamond this week, and took advantage of the fact that there was an empty stadium. Enjoy!

Brent + Amy Engagment Shoot

This weekend I definitely shot the coldest shoot this season. We were out at the location at 7:30am and the grass was frozen and the pond was covered in fog. We loved the results from the early morning shoot, but definitely took a warm shower when I got home. Anyways, we are shooting their wedding the begging of next year. Excited to be apart of this awesome couples day.

Jernigan Family Shoot

So its the holiday season and what is a better gift than family portraits. My new cousins wanted to do family pictures this year for their family, so they can to their talented and good looking cousin ;). The shoot was absolutely awesome and these two kids kept me laughing the whole time. Enjoy!

This man is amazing

Hands down the best vocalist I have seen live ever. No exaggeration. I had the privilege of seeing Jonathan Butler tonight on the Dave Koz Christmas tour. The smooth jazz is cool, buy this man is absolutely an inspiration and a prodigy. He plays a rendition of Bob Marley's, "No Woman No Cry." Seriously flawless. If you appreciate a refined artist you will watch this movie all the way through.

Thailand day dream....

So today when I was doing my morning blog jog, I came across an advertisement on Under Considerations Blog (Brand New). It was for a service called myemma. It is basically a email marketing service helping companies execute and track their email campaigns. I took the tour and it seems like an amazing service. Im pushing it here at LMG, and you should use it too. :)

Marketplace at the Diamond

So my company, Lighthouse Marketing Group, has partnered with Marketplace at the Diamond, an open air market in Lake Elsinore. Me and my partner in crime, Kenny had the responsibility of documenting the whole grand opening for the web site and promotional materials. Over the 8 hours there I came to 3 conclusions.

1. I want a miniature pot-belly pig
2. Climbing on huge truck for a pano is dangerous yet worth it.
3. Dutch people do burn even in december.
